#AskMarcAnything. Real estate agents are allowed to call themselves a “Realtor” when they join the National Association of Realtors and subscribe to the Code of Ethics. The Association of Realtors is broken up into State Associations and Local Associations. As of today, I currently serve as a Director for my Local and State Associations. But many real estate agents do not understand the benefits of our associations. So I am here to answer my “WHY.”
